Updates

I always have the best intentions. Don't we all!

Shortly after my last post, a year and a half ago, I rejoined LenelS2 (a part of Honeywell Technologies). A few months after rejoining, I transitioned into a team lead role, where I have been leading a small development team focused on bringing NFC-based mobile credentials to our access control systems.

In my personal time, I've been working on a development project that will be released in just over a month. It's been fun and challenging, and something completely different from my day-to-day work at LenelS2. I hope to share more technical details about it here as it gets closer to release.

Yesterday, I dusted off this website and updated the underlying code a bit:

• Updated to Lume 3. This was a pretty straightforward upgrade, as they have a great migration guide.
• Moved the site over to the new Deno Deploy. I was still on Deploy Deploy Classic, and that is being shutdown in just over a week, so I made the switch just in time! Again, migrating was easy, thanks to the great documentation. I look forward to exploring more of what the new Deno Deploy has to offer. So far, it looks pretty incredible!
• Tweaked the design a little bit. Nothing too drastically different for now.

Hopefully my next post won't take another year and a half to appear, but we'll see!
